Distribution & Trade Services Suriname N.V. (DTS N.V.) was established in 1999 in Paramaribo and is a sister company of Mandarin International Trading N.V., which is the sole distributor of BATCA cigarette products and also the distributor of prepaid and telephone calling cards of Telesur, the largest telecommunication company in Suriname.

DTS N.V. started off solely as a liquor distributor, but after three years there was a switch to non-alcoholic beverages and food products. The non-alcoholic beverages are fruit drinks and bottled water. The first fruit drinks were imported from Europe, but since 2006 the drinks are imported from Trinidad and Tobago. The bottled water is from a local producer.

In 2003, DTS N.V. started with the distribution of Bermudez cookies and Holiday snacks, imported from Trinidad. In 2006 and 2007 some more cookies and cakes were added to the portfolio. Also, in 2007, the distribution of Basic One Natural water started. In November 2012, DTS N.V. started with the distribution of Monster Energy drinks and MAMA Instant Noodle. In the third quarter of 2014, DTS N.V. added the products OKF drinks to its distribution portfolio. In 2015 DTS N.V. started with the distribution of GO GO yoghurt and Catelli products. In December 2017 Playboy Condoms were added to the portfolio. In the last quarter of 2020 MOO milk was added to the assortment. More info about the brands can be found on the brands page.

In december 2012, DTS N.V. achieved its ISO 9001:2008 certification and is now ISO 9001:2015 certified.

DTS N.V. started with 10 employees and 3 trucks and currently has ±66 full time employees and 21 trucks in operation.
